We are experienced in gas pump restorations, and have done several Frys over the years. We've had this pump for about ten years in our stock. This pump has the original glass tank, please note the FRY etching on the cylinder. Also, the valve assembly is original and rare and very polished. This pump has been completely disassembled and all panels sand blasted, primed repeatedly and sanded smooth. Rough casting marks have also been removed. Look close in the pictures, lots of details to notice. Two stage, base/clear paint was used and buffed to a high shine using the same processes used on a show car paint job. This pump is smooth and shiny! Special graphics on this pump, there are no decals on this pump anywhere, it's all painted graphics buried in lots of clear. Using old Fry brochures, we have recreated the graphics from scratch to better match an original Fry. Also note the painted gallon indicators on the selector, again recreated from original brochures. The globe is not an original, it's reproduction. Pogo Garage has recreated this globe in a limited edition run, matching and recreating the globe used in original Fry brochures.
Please note that this pump can be easily converted to a specific brand, like Texaco or whatever. I can do this or you can, easy on this pump if desired. Crazy amount of polished and chromed finishes. Chrome shop used is great quality, chromer specializes in Ferrari restorations. The valve, nozzle, and hardware are all polished too.All new wiring, three wire, grounded, utilizing edison bulbs for lighting. Since the glass tank is original, there are scratches here and there. Most are at the outer edges and hidden from view anyway. The glass is slightly wavy which is pretty cool!
I did polish the glass so it has good clarity. We rebuilt the pump mechanism so the pump does work. We have built a skid to transport this pump. We can deliver this to you at minimum charge, you just pay my gas.
